In a world where Internet Explorer, Firefox and Chrome are the go-to web browsers, AIR Mosaic, Enhanced NCSA Mosaic and SuperHighway Access WinTapestry probably don’t ring any bells. Only Netscape Navigator might be vaguely recognisable to most internet users nowadays. Back in 1995 however, these browsers were leading the way in making the internet accessible to home users. They included features and technologies that we still use today, and without them the internet could look a lot different.
