In the early 1990s Microsoft was ascendant with its incredibly popular operating systems. At that time IBM was struggling to remain relevant in the operating system market. Whilst DOS had sold 50 million units and Windows 3 11 million by 1992, IBM’s OS/2 had only managed 1.4 million sales. OS/2 2.0 was seen by many to be IBM’s last chance to challenge Microsoft’s dominance. Click the image below to see if it succeeded.
